The Company

Our client is an independent and passionate market research agency that designs and implements some of the most innovative and interesting complex business initiatives for key private and public sector clients within Australia.  Their research doesn’t just provide results; they reveal real insight into how to change and influence attitudes.  They are renowned for business, government and corporate campaign polling, community and stakeholder research, brand research and communications and advertising research.  They provide a dynamic and supportive environment which encourages work-life balance.


The Position

This position is suited to a creative problem-solver with a spark of genius who thrives on working with others in a collaborative team environment.  Working closely with senior research team members you will spend approx. 80% of your time on qualitative research and 20% on quantitative research.  You will be relied upon to collaborate with your teams on all stages of project delivery including questionnaire design, data analysis, fieldwork management and report writing.  As a strategic partner to your clients and getting to know their business issues you will design and manage end to end research to help achieve desired outcomes.


The Requirements

We would love to hear from you if you have a genuine passion for social research, an interest in politics and public affairs, and:

 

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience gained from a market research agency
  • Sound research skills coupled with strong project and account management skills
  • Extensive survey design experience
  • Proven track record in producing winning proposals
  • Qualitative research experience, ideally with experience in focus group moderation 
  • Outstanding communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Strong leadership skills
  • An ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field
  • Strong MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
